Course Registration Policies
Registration
Please read all the material posted with the course you would like to enroll in. For courses sponsored by massage schools and other learning institutions, you will need to contact the sponsor directly in order to enroll. Each school or other sponsoring organization will have its own options and policies regarding payment and cancellations. For courses sponsored directly by Dynamic Equilibrium, please refer to the information on this page for enrollment and payment options and cancellation/refund policies.
To register for a continuing education course with Dynamic Equilibrium, provide the registration information via mail, phone, PayPal, or e-mail (See the button to your left labeled "Register Right Now!") Checks should be dated for the class registration Confirmation Date or earlier in the amount of the full tuition to hold your place. To pay with a credit card, please choose to pay online via Paypal, then choose the credit card option. You do not have to join PayPal to use your credit card. PayPal also offers a 6 month no interest credit option for tuition greater than $99. Places are reserved in the order registration payment information is received. Checks are cashed on the class registration confirmation date (usually 2-3 weeks before the class.) Register early to ensure your place in the class. If the class is full, you will be notified of your status on the waiting list. Please do not include your e-mail address when registering unless you regularly check it, as this is the preferred mode of contact.
All classes have a minimum and a maximum enrollment, which is noted on the Class Calendar. Registrations are accepted up to 2 days before the course for most classes if space is available. However if you want a course to happen, it is better to sign up early, so that the class does not get canceled due to lack of enrollment, only to be followed by last minute enrollments that would have enabled the class to be run. If you have special payment needs, PayPal's no-interest credit plan may prove to be a solution for you.
Please read the on-line course description and your class confirmation letter carefully so you will know what to bring to the class. Remember to check your email before the class for the class confirmation letter, and if you do not see one in your in-box, call Dynamic Equilibrium at 919-562-1548 so that you can be aware of important information about the class.
Note that some courses require specific credentials or prerequisite coursework to enroll.
Cancellation and refund policy
Each course has a registration Confirmation Date. Unless otherwise noted, full payment for the course is required before the registration Confirmation Date. Should there be insufficient enrollment to run the course (determined on the registration confirmation date), you will be notified by telephone on that date, and your un-cashed check will be returned to you. If you have paid by credit card, a refund will be promptly issued to your card. Should you change your mind about taking the class, there is no financial penalty if you cancel before the registration confirmation date. After the registration confirmation date, no refunds or credits will be given. All course confirmation dates are listed in the Class Calendar, and in the course schedule page associated with each currently scheduled class offering.
In cases of documented personal emergencies, partial refunds may be given at the discretion of Dynamic Equilibrium. This refund will be based on the unrecovered costs of the late cancellation, such as the rental of classroom space or class materials.
Should an emergency situation prevent the instructor from teaching the course, your full tuition will be refunded. Dynamic Equilibrium is not responsible for any other costs incurred associated with the course, such as non-refundable airline tickets or hotel reservations. Please be sure to provide Dynamic Equilibrium with accurate contact information.
A word about course cancellations : Educational events require a group of a certain size in order to ensure diversity of opinions, thoughts and ideas, as well as diverse body types. Numbers needed may vary with the number of days for the class, as well as the type of class. In addition, the structure needs to be financially feasable for the instructor, especially when travel is involved. If you are interested in a class, please register early so you and others won't be disappointed. Register before the registration confirmation date, so I can know if there are enough students to have the class. The registration confirmation dates are set up to ensure that, should the class be cancelled, you will have plenty of time to find another class that meets your license renewal needs if that is an issue for you. Also note that classes in October will not be canceled regardless of enrollment. This is to ensure that you will not be left hanging without an available class to take right before license renewals are due.
